We decided to talk to the Board and told them we shouldn\u2019t move into Stage 4.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>You\u2019ve got to believe in yourself and that you\u2019re making the right decision<\/strong>. The product was canned and we found new roles for all 25 people involved.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>But you\u2019ve got to just get out there and give it a go. <strong>And if it fails, it fails<\/strong>. Be honest and transparent about that failure. You\u2019ll always learn from it.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>And you have to learn not to say, &#8216;Yes&#8217; all the time\u2026 <strong>sometimes you need to say, &#8216;No&#8217;<\/strong>.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1114\" src=\"https:\/\/illuminategrowth.com.au\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/Varnished-hands-writing-ADOBE-small-e1603239908880.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"421\" height=\"278\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Biting the bullet and backing your own decision-making can be tricky.<\/p>\n<p>It takes honesty, bravery and self-trust.<\/p>\n<p>But often, making those difficult decisions&#8230; (like this one, where millions and millions of dollars were at stake&#8230; not to mention the futures of 25 people) can be the absolute best course of action.<\/p>\n<p>What difficult decisions have <em>you<\/em> had to make?<\/p>\n<p>Rebecca x<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-1116 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/illuminategrowth.com.au\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/Square-Reb-2020.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"76\" height=\"79\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Rebecca Allen is a Career Success Coach for professional women seeking more from their lives and careers.
