Realise that ‘working hard’ by itself does not = recognition (it never has done and never will).<\/p>\n

Change this mindset and you’ll change your outcomes.<\/p>\n

Recognition starts first with you<\/strong> understanding your own value<\/strong><\/a> and impact (and not waiting for others to acknowledge it in you).<\/p>\n

Start by making a 3-column list of how you’re making a positive impact on your team, clients and business objectives.<\/p>\n

Review your KPIs<\/a> and workload.<\/p>\n

Are these two working in harmony?<\/p>\n

Can you hit your KPIs with your current workload?<\/p>\n

Do you need to push back on new projects that keep being added?<\/p>\n

Do you need some boundaries in place and to say ‘no’ more often?<\/p>\n

Can you delegate tasks?<\/p>\n

How can you focus more energy on your high value tasks?<\/p>\n

Taking action is always your first step; being passive is never an option if you’re serious about fast tracking your progress.<\/p>\n
