However, having done extensive research, I believe that\u2019s actually below market value. And I believe with my experience\/ expertise\/ skillset I will be adding exceptional value above that median level.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You might add,<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; padding-left: 40px;\"><em>\u201cYou want a return on your investment by hiring me. Have a Sliding Scale<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They might now ask what salary you\u2019re expecting.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You\u2019ll already have a sliding scale in mind, with your highest number above market value.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And, here\u2019s the smart bit:<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The lower number on your scale should still be a $ value you\u2019d be <strong>happy accepting<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pitch high when you respond to give yourself a little wiggle room to negotiate backwards if you need to.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Step #6 &#8211;
