Shivani moved from India to Australia age 11 – her father wanted her to have the same opportunities that her brothers had. She is an executive mentor and has a life ambition (or purpose) to see all girls educated around the world. She has a particular focus on helping young girls in rural India gain education, citing the clear benefits:<\/p>\n

“In rural families\u00a0 a better educated girl sees her worth go up and there are so many ripple effects of that,”<\/em>\u00a0Shivani says.\u00a0“They leave school about 5 years later, they experience less domestic violence and early marriage and fewer die at childbirth.”<\/em>\u00a0Shivani’s is a serious purpose which is already making a huge impact.<\/p>\n
