with corporate women struggling with burnout.<\/p>\n<p>One of the questions I asked her was <em>how to identify<\/em> if you&#8217;re actually on the verge of burnout&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>So you can take much valuable insight that Sally shared, I thought I&#8217;d distil the symptoms of burnout into three categories for you&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Because&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><em>I don&#8217;t know about you&#8230;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>But when you&#8217;re in the midst of overwhelm, it&#8217;s kinda hard to see the wood for the trees.<\/p>\n<p>So I thing that by listing out these symptoms, it might help you help yourself even faster.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve divided all these symptoms into 3 categories to make it simple: Mental, Behaviours and Outcomes.<\/p>\n<p>See if you can recognise yourself in any of these:<\/p>\n<h3>The Mental Symptoms of Burnout<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Negative thoughts about yourself, others and your outcomes<\/li>\n<li>Frustration<\/li>\n<li>Cynicism<\/li>\n<li>Cognitive you aren&#8217;t at work<\/li>\n<li>Working out of hours and at night<\/li>\n<li>Explosive reactions to small things<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3>The Outcomes of Burnout<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>General decrease in satisfaction<\/li>\n<li>Overall health problems<\/li>\n<li>Interpersonal problems<\/li>\n<li>Slipping job performance<\/li>\n<li>Inability to make clear decisions<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>If
