business\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 21px;\">Who have spent their entire careers following<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"> only that first track<\/span>:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 21px;\"><em>Working their butts off to deliver for their <strong>companies<\/strong>.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 21px;\">They work essentially, to make their companies more competitive and richer\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 21px;\">Lining the pockets of their organisations, their leaders and shareholders.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 21px;\">And\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 21px;\">In that process\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 21px;\">(And despite all that hard work and all those long hours in the office)\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 21px;\">Many of those women still feel unrecognised, undervalued and as if they are \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Working For Your Own Success<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 21px;\">I sometimes get asked, \u201cWhat actually is <em>Career Strategy<\/em>, Rebecca?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 21px;\">At the foundational level\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 21px;\"><em>Career Strategy<\/em> is about combining these two tracks <em>together<\/em>:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 21px;\">Delivering for your company, hitting your targets and performing<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; font-size: 21px;\">Whilst <strong>also<\/strong>:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 21px;\">Being proactive about defining what you want <strong>as a result of all your hard work<\/strong> to create only the best opportunities for you too.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 21px;\">How I see it, there are two tracks you can follow and the most successful, fulfilled women are those who follow BOTH simultaneously.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 21px;\">Track 1:\u00a0 <strong>Your organisation<\/strong> and what<strong> it needs<\/strong> to thrive and be successful<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 21px;\">And<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 21px;\">Track 2: <strong>You<\/strong> and your career and what<strong> you<\/strong> need to thrive and be successful<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 21px;\">Does that resonate with you?<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Burnout Is No Fun<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 21px;\">I find a lot of women are burning out\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 21px;\">Feeling undervalued\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 21px;\">And missing out\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 21px;\">Because they are pouring their entirety into <strong>only that first track<\/strong>, whilst omitting their <em>own<\/em> needs and ambitions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 21px;\">In some ways\u2026 working really hard and following Track 1 is the easier route&#8230;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 21px;\">Yes, you have to work hard\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 21px;\">But you don\u2019t have to put yourself out there\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 21px;\">Or risk rejection if you did.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 21px;\">You just put your head down and hope that your hard work will eventually be rewarded, right?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 21px;\">Whilst&#8230;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 21px;\">Track 2 involves choosing to advocate both for yourself and your work&#8230;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 21px;\">Which takes courage and is arguably harder\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 21px;\">So it\u2019s
