Research has repeatedly shown that groups with greater diversity, inclusivity, and a culture of psychological safety are more effective and collaborative and ultimately produce more robust decision making.<\/p>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h4>In this episode we are talking about inclusive leadership:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Angela&#8217;s experience of inclusivity in action&#8230;<\/li>\n<li>Ideas on how <strong>our own biases<\/strong> skew our thinking&#8230;<\/li>\n<li>Practical tips on how to<strong> involve everyone in a team<\/strong> in the discussion and to feel as if they belong&#8230;<\/li>\n<li>The value of both<strong> cognitive diversity<\/strong> as well as a culture of healthy challenge&#8230;<\/li>\n<li>And the importance of <strong>creating psychological safety<\/strong> in a group, allowing members to share without repercussion&#8230;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><b>Angela says:<\/b><br \/>\n<em><br \/>\n&#8220;Inclusivity takes effort and deliberate mindfulness to catch yourself in those moments to pause and think about how to integrate each other.
