Ep 66 – No KPIs? Don’t Doom Your Career! How to Get Back in The Driving Seat of Your Career

How will you track your impact, without KPIs and a clear role description? Let’s get clear by writing your own KPIs!

Too many women I work with come to me without clarity of their job responsibilities and KPIs

And I find this often happens when an internal promotion occurs, where too much information about the role is either vague or assumed, simply because BAU seems to take priority.

But it’s a mistake if you don’t have clarity and agreement of your role and KPIs from the get-go…

So take responsibility for your own career and write your own!

Here’s something interesting I said in this ep about setting KPIs:

“How will you know if you’ve been successful in your role if your key deliverables haven’t been agreed upfront? Don’t fall off a glass cliff and set yourself up to fail; have a clear JD and KPIs agreed right from the get go in a new role!”  (Rebecca Allen, Career Success Coach and host of Her Ambitious Career podcast)
