Salary negotiation fills so many women with dread. Stats tell us that only 47% of women have ever negotiated their salary…

That’s pretty stark…

Which is why I find it imperative that we tool-up and learn the skills of easy salary negotiation.

Yes, we live in a society that still accepts practices of bias and yes, women are still underpaid compared to their male counterparts.

I think it is ridiculous that progress is so slow…

And we can push back against that, raise awareness of the issue and even vote with our feet if we feel our corporate culture is unsupportive… or even damaging to our professional progress.

I also believe deeply in taking responsibility for the factors you absolutely can have control of…

Which is learning skills (whether you’re a woman or man!) to improve your ability to negotiate your salary on your own behalf.

These skills are hugely important… so let’s talk about it in today’s episode!
