Ep 45 – The Changing Career Landscape: Women & Success in Their 20s, 30s and 40s

What does success mean in your career? Today we are exploring how ambitions change throughout your life…

In this episode, ”Career Women & ‘Success’ in Their 20s, 30s and 40s” we are exploring the different demands of life and work and how that impacts our ambitions as we age… or does it?

In this ep, I ….

  • Am explaining how women’s careers are rarely linear… because their lives are rarely linear
  • We talk about ambition and how women tend to change in their desires for ambition throughout their lives
  • Consequently I’d am excitedly sharing some different ways in which women, who have worked with me in my coaching business, have defined what ‘success’ means to them as they move through their careers
  • How vital it is that you only ever judge yourself on your own definition(s) of success and STAY IN YOUR OWN LANE! 🙂

Episode Quote:

“There is no one single definition of what ‘success’ truly looks like because everyone has different values and ambitions. And, women in particular, rarely have linear careers, which means their definitions of success can change dramatically throughout a lifetime.”  (Rebecca Allen, Career Success Coach and host of Her Ambitious Career podcast)
