How to Write Clear KPIs to Get Promoted Faster

Without clear, written and agreed KPIs, clarity of your role and your deliverables, lots of things are uncertain.

And when there’s a lack of clarity, unfortunately people fill in the blanks for themselves.

Your job description and KPIs should help you outline the following:

  • Who are you responsible for?
  • What specifically are you responsible for?
  • What are your deliverables?
  • What measures are you being judged on?
  • How will you be judged at your next performance review?

Clear KPIs Help You Get Promoted Faster

One thing is certain:

The people who excel in their roles have super-clear job descriptions and KPIs.

They know what’s expected of them.

They know how their performance will be measured.

And this gives them confidence, direction and a clear sense of purpose

As well as leverage – because when they do perform, they have a paper trail record of how and where they’ve hit their targets.

And that means they have a big opportunity to  then negotiate and ask for more of what they want.

Wouldn’t your life be easier, and more profitable, if you had a clear role description and tangible KPIs?

100% it would!
